an eight week online course
with YOGADHARMA Director, Amy Cronise-Mead MFA, ERYT-500
The program is offered usually one time per year. It is released in 8 weekly modules on consecutive Tuesdays. However, everything is completely downloadable and you can work at your own pace. The schedule is up to YOU.
From the comfort of your own home.
Meditation makes you happier. Seriously. We’ve known that it helps you be more focused, more productive, more patient and kind… but recent studies even show that it makes you happier. Meditation helps with negative emotions, such as anxiety and depression. It helps you to access your highest wisdom in any situation. It even helps you expand our capacity to love. It’s that simple.
An eight week online class where you listen and complete weekly assignments, from your own home, when it is convenient for you, but with all the support you need! The course will include weekly video teachings on everything from how to sit, where to sit, when to sit, what meditation is and what it isn’t, what to think about… and a centuries-old system for preparing the mind to be able to meditate easily and (seemingly) spontaneously. (It worked for me, and I was a hard nut to crack.) Additionally you are able to choose the level of offering that is just right for you, from quite simple to being able to lead your own meditation series.
This course is offered at three levels, which one is perfect for you?
Level 1 Layperson ($179):

I highly encourage anyone new to meditation practice, as well as those already somewhere along the path, to avail themselves of this course. It is meaningful, insightful, and life-changing. Wonderful class and great on-line format. It allowed you to fit into your daily schedule. What more can I say, Amy is a wonderful, inspiring teacher! —Charles J. B.
The work of sitting in meditation is both simple and profound. This program effectively helps to dissolve the obstacles to sitting, as well as, dealing with those that arise during meditation. My practice, which has been satisfying yet inconsistent over the years, is now both consistent and exponentially satisfying both on and off my cushion. I eagerly look forward to further study with Amy. —With love, Sherry H.
Even through videos, Amy is approachable and her teachings practical. The time needed for this course is very manageable (~1 hr/class) for people with busy lives like me. I like the flexibility of taking the class on my own time while having the forum to share ideas, ask questions, and get support. The course helped me learn more about meditation and establish a daily practice. Whether I may have time for 1 hour sitting or only a few minutes free – the variety and practicality of teaching lets me choose what works best for me and still get the benefits of meditation. This course is based on Buddhist traditions but is taught in a way that largely is non-denominational and is relatable regardless of religious affiliation (or not at all). Recommend to everyone who may be interested in learning more about meditation or want to further their practice! —Sarah Y
Excellent program – meaningful instruction and practical process to greatly increase my meditation which I have been doing for years. —David H.
Steps on the path of meditation offered an accessible, clear teaching on meditation and its benefits. The video teaching was the next best thing to being in the classroom. I would place my iPad in front of me while on my cushion to get the full effect and it really worked. Thank you for making these teachings clear, consistent and fresh! —Alison
